There are different ways to reach Iceland by sea:

navigate from Bergen- Norway to Seyðisfjörður, stopping for three nights at Fær Øer islands on the way back;

In Iceland the gas stations are located all around the island, but in the most isolated areas, particularly in the internal part, it is recommended to check the distance among them, to be sure you have enough fuel before leaving. Most of the stations are self service, and they accept credit card.
