Iceland the last born of the European lands, is a unique Country thanks to its natural marvels, but also to the peculiarity of its people. The Icelandic people went through periods of isolations and foreign rule that made them develop a culture that hovers between tradition and innovation, between the cult of ancient saga and the most advanced technology.

Iceland has been recently discovered by scientists, especially geologists, and by tourists, that have been concentrating more and more their curiosity on this young and almost uncontaminated land. But today Iceland is menaced by the fast overheating of the Earth (its most important glacier, the third most important in the whole world- withdraws of a 100 meters per year!), other than the speculations of companies- most of the times foreign ones, that consider the huge natural energy potential of this land as a source of easy profiteering.

This blog is addressed to those who wish to allow Iceland enchantment tempt them, and it wants to offer useful information to organize a trip, but also to pass on the passion for this wonderful and friendly land.

You’ll also find detailed information on the connections to and from the island, the local means of transport, accommodations, trips, sports, …., and all what you need to know to make your trip to Iceland unforgettable!
